NS FULCRUM Individual Self-Clamping Guitar Bridge/Tuner

The patented NS FULCRUM headless guitar bridge/tuner unit is the culmination of Ned Steinberger’s 45+ years of headless guitar hardware design. It features an intuitive self-clamping mechanism that grips the non-ball end of the guitar string; simply insert the string into the tuner and pull it through, and tighten the tuning knob to grip the string and bring it up to pitch. Loosen the tuning knob completely, and remove the string. The FULCRUM tuner is compatible with all commonly available guitar strings.

There are two versions of the FULCRUM tuner; the standard version is designed for guitar strings from .008” up to .065”. The oversize version is for the larger strings used on 7-8 string extended range guitars and baritone guitars, accommodating strings up to .080”.

These tuners are manufactured in Southern California by RWB Precision. The housing, saddle, and knob are milled from 6061 aluminum, and the clamping arm is milled from 17-4 PH stainless steel.

Sold individually; a standard 6-string guitar will require 6 standard tuners. A 7-string extended range guitar would typically use 6 Standard and 1 Oversize unit.
